Did my son-in-law really find proven-income-opportunities by building a website?
When my son-in-law had a heart attack it was no small thing. Would he be able to continue his website? As I said before, I really thought my son-in-law's website was doomed. Having a stint put in, so you can go on living somewhat normally does keep you alive, but what of your working life?
You'll want to read about starting his website, if you haven't already.
He didn't really work on his website much, during that 6 months after his heart attack. My daughter kept me appraised of what was happening on his site. The funny thing was, his statistic numbers kept going up and so did his checks with Google and other companies his site was advertising. His Alexa ranking was under one million, so his website was in the top 1% of all websites out there on the net. And his income kept increasing from his website. WOW! Now, this had my attention. I was really listening and I was certainly thinking that this was something I could do. The potential for making money was obvious and all we needed for RL to retire was another $300. If I could make that with building a website of my own, then we could survive some-what comfortably and RL could retire.
Little did we know, that we were headed towards retirement at a record speed, because not 2 weeks after our son-in-law's heart attack, RL developed heart issues and nearly died. He didn't have a heart attack, but his heart almost quit pumping. His heart's efficiency level or “ejection factor” had reduced from 75% (which is normal), to 8% which is NADA, zilch, nothing. They bring in Hospace at 20% because you are dieing.. RL's was 8% !! The Dr admitted him in the hospital thinking he was going to die with each breath he took. In October of '07, after 9 months of much prayer, worry, heart surgery and recooperation, I bought my website and started learning what to do. It took a few weeks to get through the “guided tour” to the point of getting my own domain.
I actually launched my website
in January of '08 and by June of '08 I put Google Ads on it and I began making money from people advertising on my site. Advertising with Google Adsense is not a “get rich quick” proposition, but I have made sufficient to pay for my annual renewal fee with SBI. By next year I expect it will be considerably more. There are many other ways to monitize or make money on your site, that this company teaches us to do.
If you are a “big fish” in the world of marketing, you probably wouldn't have read this far, because you wouldn't have agreed with what I say because some people really do make it big in “MLM” or network marketing. But if you are a “little guy”, like me, in the world of marketing, you probably know exactly what I'm talking about because you've “been there,” and “done that.”.
