Will you DIY or
hire a painter?

Well, RL thought it wouldn't be that hard, and RL could do it himself, so we didn't even get a bid from a finish carpenter or a painter. What I forgot, was that RL is a perfectionist, and what we didn't know was that RL's heart was giving out on him.

By hiring a painter probably much less paint would have been used, and it would have taken much less time to paint the house. Long story short, by the time we bought all the paint, and bought the painting equipment, spray gun etc., and spray painted way more than was necessary in paint, it probably wasn't even near $2,000 in savings. The upside is he did get a paint sprayer, which he has used in several applications since.
